My name is Davina Donovan and I am generally registered as a psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulatory Association, having completed an honours degree in Psychology at Griffith University. I have a broad range of experience which includes working in the Government sector with criminal offenders, in the not for profit sector with adolescents and young adults, as the Principal Psychologist at a busy private Practice, and as a suicide prevention researcher.
dhamma and co. is my life and my passion. I have a genuine desire to help you to become the best version of yourself. I have experience working with many presenting issues including Anxiety, Trauma, Suicidality, Depression, and Developmental Disorders. My keen interest area is working with Children, Adolescents, and Families.
I utilise many modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Committment Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Mindfulness. I practice on the ethics of transparency and authenticity, and like to focus on client-centred, strengths-based approaches.
